There were storms today and they woke everyone up nice and early… At least they were good for something later this afternoon! We spent a little time outside puddle jumping.

Today…. I kept trying to get a photo today for my 365… we went outside and tried to play with sidewalk chalk, but the rain started about two minutes after I hauled out all the bikes and chalk and outside toys that the kids wanted to play with. So I got a quick one this afternoon, literally I only got one… then this evening when it was time for baby G to go to bed, I turned and saw the floating baby and thought that it would also make a good shot for today!

Love these. The weather was awesome today!
My mom complained that I did not post a story with yesterday’s images… I was in a hurry so I’ve now gone back and posted the story!![]()
Today we had plans with family that were in town visiting from Ohio (Hi Aunt Carolyn and Unlce Ed!)… dressing my children is like dressing octopi (I think that’s plural for octopus). And that’s when you can actually CATCH them. They like to hide or run away as soon as they know we’re in a hurry to run out the door and go somewhere. They thought they could hide under my comforter that they pulled down to the ground… except, the giggling gave them away… that and the cute little diapered booty sticking out from underneath the blanket. He’s not quite as talented as his sister when it comes to stealth trickery and disappearing. Eventually I caught them and dressed them and we were only 30 minutes late thanks to their shenanigans (my Irish word for the day… Happy St. Patrick’s Day!). Silly kids.

She was doing the whole, “but moooooooommmmmm….” bit. She wanted to get her piggy bank out. Her auntie B has started giving her pennies and other bits of change that she finds. But I was trying to wrap up a few things I was working on. Once I was able to stop what I was working on, we went outside to enjoy some of the evening light and she counted a couple pennies that her Daddy gave her.

So, I was lazy today and didn’t shoot my 365 earlier in the day, like I should have. Instead I waited. Which probably wasn’t a good idea… I injured my knee, clumsy as I am, at a shoot this evening. There was a loud popping noise when I went to stand up and then I couldn’t put weight on it. Now I can at least walk on it, but… it hurts. So this 365 is brought to you from where I’m sitting… at my computer uploading images from this evenings shoot while my sweet little monkey watches Ni Hao Kai Lan.
