Today we spent time chasing butterflies to put in our new butterfly habitat. I even raced home this evening from the work we were doing at the studio so that I could get a few photos of the kids with the butterfly that we caught in the yummy evening light. Only, once I got home the butterfly had managed to escape. I guess the winds sent the habitat onto it’s side and the butterfly escaped when the lid popped open a tad. Meh, we’ll just have to do it again tomorrow. Til then, here is this… my little day dreamer…;)

Tonight was my and Adam’s 7th wedding anniversary. So we went out to a yummy dinner which means I got to get out of my flip flops and jeans and into something a little more stylish for once.;)The life of a mom and a photographer often means I’m wearing jeans and boots or sandals (depending on the season). It was a much welcomed change for a night!

The look that I get when she is done. Done taking photos and ready to do what she wants. I get this look a lot and I don’t blame her. Typically I don’t have the kids pose but for today, I needed to evaluate the lighting in my new studio space and she is easier to contain than Grayson is… poor kiddo.;)

By the way… Thanks again Mom, Dad, Adam and Ruth for all your help today. I would never be able to do this and get through it in one piece without you.:)
