My muse

I’ve been in a funk. I didn’t want to pick up my camera. Didn’t want to edit. Didn’t want to think about shooting. Slowly I’m working my way out of that…. it’s hard not to pick up your camera when you find a beautiful location and you have an adorable model.;)

Swamped…

with work, kiddos and life in general. Wouldn’t have it any other way… but I think we need a little vacation soon – to a beach. This photo isn’t from today but I just had the chance to edit it from earlier this spring. I love how he is watching his sister chasing a bird… he wants to do everything she does.

My boy…

he’s growing up too quickly. Grandma came to watch them today so that I could get some work done since they’ve been home on summer break for almost two weeks now. He watched her drive away.

Adriana Rangel - I’m a photographer. Some of my friends have told me they love to see the world through my eyes: they say they are special. But, however “magical” my eyes can be, however lovingly I may watch the world, they are lacking in comparison to yours. There is so much beauty and poetry in the way you look at the world – the way it is reflected in your photography – it leaves me in absolute awe.

today.

I fell off the 365 wagon a few weeks ago. I laid down in bed and it was a teensy bit past midnight and I realized it and was too tired to do anything about it. So, from now on… I will just be posting and shooting photos of my own kiddos as I can. Maybe I’ll work back up to the 365 again, but honestly with as busy as we’ve become lately, I don’t see that happening anytime soon… I leave you with this one of my daughter today.
